Ammu's Ponytail ..........

So here i am writing about my little ammu again ........her stories never end .......so sit back and enjoy ..............................

Ammu's latest interest in life has changed .....it is no longer pink bags now it is Long Hair !!!!!!!!!

One fine morning my little ammu decided she would be growing her hair now .....now why is that ?

She said Amma dont cut my hair now i want to tie it like you do behind with the pretty clips and ribbons ........oh and i was happy atleast have influenced her for something good .........actually i influence her for many many many things .......so i have to think twice before i breathe too nowadays

Hmm so as i was saying ammu's long hair .......aagh now it is almost an obsession .daily she makes lightning visits to the mirror and holds her head straight and tilted and sideways and turned and twisted and tries to check the length of her hair ......as if hair grew looong overnight !!! Also she agrees to tie it up like a fountain at night after brushing it well ........otherwise i had to chse her around tables and beds and chairs to do this !!!!!

And then the next step is to rush to me and say with big round eyes " Amma my hair has grown see it touches my ears now ..........it touches my neck ......and so on ........... read all this with twinkly eyes and happy grinning in the background .......

More than the hair what i love is the look in hr eyes the sparkle when the hair is growing .......

Yesterday when i took her to school , she decided she would wait for her friends and then go up together (Ammu aka Meenakshi , Zenna , Noha whom she calls Mooha , Shreshta and Nivedita who is Nivenedittta to ammu ). Then came Zenna shaking her long ponytail behind her , then Shreshta with a plaited ponytail ......more twinkling sparkling eyes and squeeling in joy and holding hands ................then came Mooha with a small teeny weeny ponytail like a fountain on her head ...............then again more happy grins ........wow little girls are awesome !!

Noha's mother had a drained look on her face .....Noha wants loooong hair and a ponytail aagh it is like a battle to tie it up daily in the morning rush ........................OH MY GOD !!!

THEN IT DAWNED ON ME.............

Amma was not the factor that influenced the ponytail and long hair and constant mirrir visits it was tiny heads sitting together and deciding and plotting that all in the group would have longhair and ponytails !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can u imagine deciding something so seriously when u are 4 or 5 and just 2 feet tall wow ....now that is some decision !!! Maybe grown ups should learn something from this .........Take a decision and stick to it and do whatever possible to get it done !!! and dont forget the fierce Group Loyalty :)

Wow Ammu's ponytail ........did not know there was so much planning behind it by 5 tiny heads !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
