After Ammu now it's Appu the angelic devil .......

Many of you have read my earlier blogs on Ammu ....she has moved on and given the stage to her younger brother Appu now .......It's so totally different ..a little girl growing up and a little boy ...are like the sky and the earth ! There is nothing similar ......but there is nothing different too ...only thing is everything is done and said and "executed " in a totally different style !!!!

Ammu was in a world of fairies and buttercups and magic and giggles ....... Appu's world begins with Lord Ganesha ..means its fascinating ...then transcends through a wild life trip that shows only elephants ...Appu has a collections of around 5-6 elephants in different sizes and colours :) Then there is Chotta bheem the much loved indian cartoon character ...and appu drinks milk because it makes chotta bheem strong .....He tried eating laddoos like bheem too but found out that chotta bheem has a too sweet tooth and he doesn't !

Gone are the days when i dressed as i pleased ( sigh !) . Now i need to please my escort the great Appu ! Amma why is your hair pinned up on top of your head ....its not nice .......and he will sulk and fight till i let down my hair ......But letting myhair down has its benefits since soon i get a very tight huggy sloppy kiss from the great fashion guru himself !!! ( A 3 ft tall Fashion guru !!) Sarees were always a pain in the neck for me .....fornutaley fashion guru Rohit does not like them either :) ( am doing a victory dance here ......and i shudder to think what wud happen of me if he had liked it !!! ) Let me just say that the Sari is one of the most beautiful and sensuous indian attire ........ but i do not know how to drape it beautifully so it and me have always been at loggerheads with each other ...the battle always being won by the sari that simply refuses to lie beautifully on me and instead shows its protest by coiling around me like a python on a poor treee !!!

So back to Appu and me and the sari ...... If at all i succeed to somehow bring the sari under my command taking help from an army of pins .....the protest is almost immediate ....Its made in a loud bossy tone with a very tiny shrill sound hehehe ......Amma why have you put this looooooooong dupatta ( thats what appu calls a sari !) Actually A Dupatta is a part of another indian dress the Salwar kameez . The frown on the face when he bosses around is so fierce that i really fight back urges to just huggggg him tight hahaha and keep a serious face and tell him that a sari is a beautiful dress ...to which of course he retaliates rather strongly ..... Appu loves his Eggs !!! Boiled , poached , scrambled ...anyway he loves his eggs ! The minute he starts fighting or feels upset or cries i ask him Appu do you want an egg.........And then i can see A Flash of lightning in his eyes and a upside rainbow forming on those tiny lips :* Then from the minute i take the egg out of the fridge ...i have a small man running around me with an excited high pitched voice asking queries like Amma what are you doing , amma did you put salt , amma is it done , amma .............. finally i tel him that he gets the eggs only if he keeps totally silent .... Keeping silent is like Scaling Mount Everest with pointy heels that have been greased for Appu !!! IMPOSSIBLE ( thats what i love about him :* the ability to always be around me never letting me feel alone )

So after a second that seems like a year of silence Appu tells me with a Smile that cud melt Iron ...Amma appu is a good boy now so now i get the egg hahahahah He helps me in beating the egg and loves those yellow sun like yolks breaking and circling around the bowl ....... Once its ready again Appu climbs Mt.Everest in greased heels ..... the looong wait to get the egg to cool down ! Finally the ringmaster has been tamed and settles down with a calm composed happppy expression .......to eat his Egg ......the only thing that can silence the great orator .........:* Keep reading for more Appu adventures ...am sure there will be plenty of pages to fill .........
