Being a Teacher !

This is a blog for all teachers out there. We are supposedly in the most respected and noble profession ever.
A job that lets you hold by the hand, guide with your teachings and uplift with your care. A place where children of other mothers come and become your own. A job in which you not only teach but also learn something new each and every moment.
I have been a teacher for hardly 5 years now...which is not much to call myself experienced.
The day I decided to be a teacher ...something clicked and fell into place... as if the lock had finally found the perfect key. ...finding my own childhood. In simpler words It was like finding Magic.
When they trust you without questions, when they accept you as one of their own, when you become a part of their smiles, tears and fears... it is as if you have found another world for yourself ...a second family.

But I learnt I have the power to influence. To plant seeds of goodness, knowledge and many good things in young minds. To awaken curiosity in sleeping souls.
You need   not be the teacher to pick a cane but could be the one to hold a hand .
Maybe not the one to bring a centum but surely the one to make a child understand his worth.

Teachers are blessed with a deep sixth sense to feel talents lying buried deep inside a rebel . Or find out the  goodness hidden behind the scowl of a back bencher. To feel and bring out the artist within a slow learner.
You don't need degrees and feathers in your hat to mould a perfect student.
You just need a teacher's heart and the magic of belief inside your heart that you can influence and touch the deepest part of a child's soul. So reach out with love and patience. With understanding.
Trust that instinct and take that risk. Hold a rebel hand with confidence and trust in them. Love conquers all. They shall follow ...where you lead. So lead with care .
Teach with your soul and they shall learn.
Teach with love and not anger , they shall change.
Teach them , so that you can learn.
Teach them with your heart and you shall not fail.
