Thoughts unspoken yet understood
Moments in love
A few are fortunate to have them

Hearts broken to a million shards
Souls scarred and left to bleed
Minds frozen never to thaw
Lessons for life
A few are fortunate to have them

A ray of light somewhere inside
A realisation sharp and new
A moment of courage flashing strong
A change for the better
A few are fortunafe to have these

Broken or mend
Spoken or not
Read or written or erased
Tied down or set free
A few are fortunate
And so are thee.
